Inspired by design sensibilities from EUT team members, the game asks you to earn points, buy nodes on a branching tree, unlock research (lambda), and eventually prestige for permanent power. This beginner guide explains the core loop from first join through your initial meaningful upgrades—everything you need before diving into mid-game guides and tier lists.
Understanding the Core Loop
Upgradex follows classic incremental structure: generate points, spend them on upgrade tree nodes, unlock stronger generators and multipliers, repeat faster. Unlike idle browser games, you actively navigate a visual tree—pan and zoom with PC or mobile controls to plan purchases.
Your first minutes focus on cheapest nodes near the tree root. Each node has prerequisites—locked nodes gray out until you buy ancestors. Read tooltips before clicking. The goal is compounding income, not buying randomly.
Best First Upgrades to Buy
Prioritize nodes that increase points per second or per click before expensive flavor upgrades. Our best early upgrades page lists community-tested orders for RELEASE 1.0. Generally: income first, cost reduction second, quality-of-life third.

Points, Research, and Prestige Intro
Points are your run currency—lost on prestige reset but fast to earn early. Research points (lambda) persist across prestiges and unlock major branches. Prestige points buy permanent upgrades after resets—see prestige overview later, not hour one.
Badges like RESEARCH, PRESTIGE, HOMEFINDER, and UNREALITY track milestones. Do not chase HOMEFINDER immediately—it is a LIMITED badge with roughly 4.1% win rate.
Learning the Interface
Memorize UI layout: tree center, currencies top, shop/events/codes on periphery. Practice opening the shop to see Supporter (49R$) and Modifiers (199R$) gamepasses without purchasing until you understand value.
Redeem codes when available via redemption menu. At RELEASE 1.0 launch, none are active—focus on legitimate progression.
Where to Go After the Tutorial Phase
