The Perfect Key is one of Upgradex's hidden collectible items—a reward for players who fully explore the Incremental Clicker area nested inside the Computer. After obtaining the key, you can visit bdidk235's room to read lore about it and attempt to use it on the Door. This guide walks through the exact steps to find the key, reach bdidk235's room, and understand the current state of this secret as of RELEASE 1.1.
Prerequisites
There are no hard prestige or research requirements to obtain the Perfect Key. Any player who has reached the Computer area of the upgrade tree can attempt this secret. The Computer is accessible relatively early in the progression, though some navigation through the upgrade tree is required to find it.
Players on all platforms can obtain the key—PC, mobile, and console (where supported). The key will appear in your Roblox inventory once obtained.
Step 1 – Find the Computer
The Incremental Clicker is located inside the Computer. Navigate your upgrade tree to find the Computer node or area. The exact location varies based on your current tree layout, but it is typically found by exploring branches that lead to utility or story-related nodes.
Once you locate and interact with the Computer, the Incremental Clicker mini-area should open or transition on screen.
Step 2 – Navigate the Incremental Clicker
Inside the Incremental Clicker, progress through the area normally until you reach the final section. The key step is to continue walking to the right after reaching the final area of Incremental Clicker—do not stop or turn back at the apparent end.
Keep moving right until you encounter rocks at the very edge of the map. A text prompt will appear at that point, and the Perfect Key will be automatically added to your Roblox inventory.
Step 3 – Visit bdidk235's Room
After obtaining the Perfect Key, find bdidk235's room in the game world. This room contains lore about the key and the Door. The room is accessible after obtaining the key, though the exact navigation may vary slightly depending on your current position in the game.
In the room, read the text carefully for story details. When you attempt to use the Perfect Key on the Door, you will find that it unfortunately does not work in the current RELEASE 1.1 build—the key is currently a collector's item with no functional use.
Current Status (August 2026)
As of RELEASE 1.1 and the August 4 snapshot, the Perfect Key and Door remain in the game but serve as lore items rather than functional mechanics. Orthogon has not announced any plans to make the key functional, but as with all hidden content, future updates could expand on this secret.

Community Notes
The Perfect Key secret is one of the more elaborate hidden items in Upgradex, suggesting Orthogon originally planned a larger narrative around it. The fact that the Door does not currently respond to the key fuels speculation that this may be revisited in a future update.
Do not attempt to use third-party tools to force the Door open or duplicate the key—doing so risks save deletion under Orthogon's anti-cheat policy. All known secrets should be earned through legitimate exploration.
